A few years ago my parents sat in my living room and stated how happy they were that they lived in a country that promoted and sanctioned polytheism. I was shocked and very dismayed. My response was that God did not feel the same way.

This is one of many of our national sins for which we are being punished. Here is a list of our punishments.

Deuteronomy 28:15 And it shall be, if you will not heed the voice of your God, to take heed to do all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, even all these curses shall come on you and overtake you:

The Curses

We and our children will be cursed.

No success in pursuits

Plagues will cling to you: lung disease, fever, inflammation, extreme burning, blight and mildew. Boils, and hemorrhoids, scurvy, itch, madness, blindness, and with consternation of heart. Bad knees, legs and disease from the sole of your foot even to your crown.

Drought

Floods

Wars lost.

Death by wild animals.

Plundered

Rape

Foreclosure

Food and animals shipped to enemies.

Planting great and harvesting little. (No nutrition even though there is plenty.)

Planted food devoured by animals.

Sons and daughters taken to die in foreign lands in wars.

Outsiders will own your land and shall be over you. (Property tax)

He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. (Much debt is not just for wants, but needs.)

Each one of these curses can be found to some degree. As wickedness increases so shall the curses. Currently Christianity is not even permitted equal status with the other non-Christian religions in this country. This is not a Christian nation and was declared so back in 1797 by unanimous vote of the Senate and signed into law by President Adams.

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in Yahweh than to put confidence in man (the consent of the people).

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man (the consent of the people), but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many (the consent of the people) there be which go in thereat:

God will not save a nation that rejects Him and his law.
