After reading the above it might seem difficult to accept what some people say.
They say that YHVH, God, discarded his people Israel in the Assyrian captivity. That
they intermarried and were lost forever becoming part of their captors. No, God
is keeping his unconditional promises that he made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel as
well as King David. He also is keeping the promises that he made in Hosea, Amos and other
places. God did not transfer his promises to "other people" (Daniel 2:44) after promising
Abraham that he would physically be the "father of many nations" (Genesis 17:4-6).
We have indisputable proof by looking at history and archeology. YHVH's people are blessing the
world by being servants to them, taking them the wonderful Gospel of Christ. We are his
people. We are the Israelites of the dispersion. (James 1:1) If you are of European descent
you may be descended from those very people to whom God made his promises. How do you know if
you are related by blood to Abraham? Do you have God's laws written in your mind, and in your
heart? (Hebrews 8:8-10 and Jeremiah 31:31-37) Read that passage in Jeremiah to
find out how long God would keep his covenant with his people. When you are studying the
Bible pay attention to the context when you see the word "gentile". Many times in the New
Testament it is actually referring to our Israelite fathers that went into the Assyrian
captivity, one they escaped from around 150 years later and migrated, over many years,
to Western Europe and much of the earth.
